This Privacy Policy explains how Comply.bd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website, marketplace, and related services (the “Services”). It should be read together with our Cookie policy where cookies and similar technologies are described.

1. Who we are

Comply.bd operates the Services that connect buyers with independent compliance professionals (“Agents”) in Bangladesh. For privacy enquiries you can contact us at support@comply.bd.

2. Information we collect

You provide: account details (e.g. name, email, company), messages you send on the platform, files you upload to orders or your vault, billing-related information processed by our payment partners, and anything you submit through forms or support.

Automatically: device and connection data, log and usage data, and identifiers collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie policy.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve the Services (accounts, orders, messaging, payments, security), to communicate with you about the platform, to comply with law, and to enforce our Terms of Service. We may use aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you for analytics and product development.

4. Sharing

We share information with Agents as needed to fulfil orders you place, with service providers who assist us (hosting, email, analytics, payments) under appropriate safeguards, and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary by data type.

6. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and care when sharing sensitive documents.

7. Your choices

Where applicable law provides rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or objection), you may contact us at the email above. You can adjust cookie preferences as described in our Cookie policy. You may close your account subject to our Terms and any ongoing legal or contractual retention needs.

8. International transfers

Our primary operations relate to Bangladesh. If we use providers or infrastructure in other countries, we take steps consistent with applicable law to protect your information.

9. Children

The Services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which consent is required under local law.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version here and update the date shown above. Where changes are material, we may provide additional notice (e.g. email or in-app).
